Abstract
An unassuming Dutch librarian retrieves a tattered European guidebook from the overnight slot— more than a century overdue. He decides to track down the culprit. The trail leads him on a worldwide pursuit. Eventually, the audience learns that the person to whom all of the Librarian's items relate may be Ahasuerus the Wandering Jew.
