Joseph Yulyevich Achron (1886-1943) was a Russian Jewish composer, settled in the United States.

Biography

Born in Lithuania under the Russian Empire, was a child prodigee performer and an accomplished concert violinist. In 1922 moved to Germany and then, after a brief stay in Palestine settled in the United States in 1925.
