Two from Galilee: A Love Story (1972) is a novel by Marjorie Holmes.

Editions and translations

Published in the United States (Old Tappan, NJ: Revell, 1972). Translated also into Danish, Finnish and Portuguese. In 1996 it became a musical by Robert Sterling.

Abstract

Blends scripture, tradition, and creative imagination into a fictional re-creation of the courtship of Mary and Joseph. Part One of a trilogy devoted to Jesus, followed in the 1980s by Three from Galilee (1985 Holmes), novel, and The Messiah (1987 Holmes), novel.
