Einleitung in das Neue Testament <German> (1804-1812) is a book by Johann Gottfried Eichhorn.
Abstract
Eichhorn questioned the genuineness of the First and Second letters of Peter and the Epistle of Jude, and denied the Pauline authorship of the First and Second letters to Timothy and to Titus. Developed Gotthold Ephraim Lessing's theory that the canonical gospels were based upon various translations and editions of a primitive Aramaic Gospel of the Nazarenes.
