Belsazars gästabud / Belshazzar's Feast (1906) is a piece of incidental music by Jean Sibelius for Belsazars gästabud (1905 Procopé), play.

Abstract

Editions, performances

Premiered in Helsinki [Finland]: Swedish Theatre, 7 November 1906; conducted by the composer.

In 1907, Sibelius rearranged it as a suite (Belsazars gästabud, op. 51), which premiered in Helsinki [Finland]: 25 September 1907; Orchestra of the Helsinki Philharmonic Society, conducted by the composer. A piano arrangement of the suite also appeared in 1907.
