Jonah (1900) is a novel by Iwan Gilkin.
Abstract
The protagonist of this philosophical tale is not the biblical Jonah but an homonym who has hidden away in his garret the stuffed carcass of the whale who swallowed the old Jonah. The new Jonah and the illustrious cetacean enter into a humorous conversation about the facts of life.
