Tor Andræ (1885-1947) was a Swedish scholar. Born July 9 1885 at Vena [Sweden], he earned his PhD in Theology at Uppsala University 1917. He became professor of the History of Religions at the University College of Stockholm in 1927, and in Uppsala two years later. in 1936 he was appointed bishop of Linköping in 1936. Andræ died at Linköping on February 24, 1947.
