Le juif errant <French> / The Wandering Jew (1904) is a silent film directed by Georges Méliès.

Abstract

Like Sue's novel, on which it is based, tells of the legend of the Jerusalem shopkeeper who refused to let Jesus rest at his door while on his way to Calvary, and thus is doomed to wander the world forever.
