Philip Ferdinand (1555-1598) was a Polish-born British scholar and Hebraist of Jewish descent. Taught at Oxford and Cambridge in England and then moved to Leiden at the invitation of Joseph Scaliger. His anthology of post-biblical Jewish writings contributed significantly to the knowledge of this literature in England.
