Moses Alshekh (1498-1593) was a Jewish scholar, author of popular biblical commentaries.

Biography
Moses Alshekh was born in Adrianople, Turkey. Educated in Salonika, had Joseph Caro as one of his teachers. Moved to Palestine, where he settled as Rabbi at Safed. In addition to halakhic responsa, wrote several biblical commentaries, which were primarily homiletic in nature, full of moral advice for his readers, and enjoyed great popularity.
