The Silver Chalice (1954) is a film directed by Victor Saville. Music by Franz Waxman.

Abstract

Based on The Silver Chalice (1952 Costain), novel, interpolates biblical characters in a fictional story about a Greek sculptor who designed the framework for the cup used at the Last Supper by Jesus. Starring Virginia Mayo (Helena), and Paul Newman (Basil). Music by Franz Waxman (1906-1967).
