Gabriele Boccaccini (b.1958) is an Italian scholar, at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor MI), USA.

Biography

Born in Florence, Italy. Laurea 1983 in Early Christianity (University of Florence, Italy). PhD 1991 in Judaic Studies (University of Turin, Italy). Professor of Second Temple Judaism and Christian Origins at the Dept. of Near Eastern Studies of the University of Michigan. Founder and director of the Enoch Seminar. Editor-in-chief of the Journal Henoch.
