La gitana melancólica (1608) is a play by Gaspar de Aguilar.

Abstract

A young Jewish woman, Aber, is chosen by lot to save Jerusalem from the Romans by seducing the Emperor Titus and then killing him—in explicit imitation of Judith. But the plan misfires and she kills the wrong man. Titus forgives her and spares her life.
