Kurt Aland

Kurt Aland (1915-1994) was a German NT scholar, specialized in New Testament textual criticism, and founder of the Institut für neutestamentliche Textforschung (Institute for New Testament Textual Research) in Münster of which he served as its first director for many years (1959–83).
