Franz Julius Delitzsch

Franz Julius Delitzsch (1813-1890) was a German scholar and novelist, Lutheran theologian and Hebraist. Professor at Rostock, Erlangen and Leipzig. In 1880 established the Institutum Judaicum in Leipzig.
