Expulsion of Heliodorus from the Temple (1725) is a fresco by Francesco Solimena.

Abstract

History and current location

Solimena painted the fresco in 1725 for the entrance wall of the Church of Gesù Nuovo, Naples, Italy, where it is still located. A preparatory sketch of the fresco is preserved at the Musée du Louvre, Paris [France].
