The Death of Joseph of Nazareth refers to an episode in the live of Joseph of Nazareth, as narrated only in later Christian tradition.

Overview

At the beginning of his ministry Jesus is referred to as the "son of Mary" and no reference is made in the Gospels to Joseph of Nazareth outside the Infancy narratives. Christian tradition assumed that Joseph of Nazareth died at Nazareth during Jesus' Hidden Years.
