Expulsion of Heliodorus from the Temple (1725) is a fresco by Francesco Solimena.

Abstract

History and current location

Solimena painted the fresco in 1725 for the entrance wall of the Church of Gesù Nuovo, Naples [Italy], where it is still located. A preparatory sketch of the fresco is preserved at the Musée du Louvre, Paris [France].
