The Testament of Theophilus (1973) is a novel by Leonard Wibberley.

Abstract

"A novel of Christ and Caesar." Focuses on the relationship between Jesus and Theophilus, a slave-born who had become a wealthy Roman citizen

Published in New York, NY: W. Morrow, 1973. Reissued in London: Cassell, 1974, as Merchant of Rome; and in Canoga Park, CA: Major Books, 1977, as The Seven Hills.
