James A. Montgomery (1866-1949) was an American scholar.
Biography
James A. Montegomery was born on June 13, 1866 in Philadelphia, PA.
He earned his degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was Instructor and then Professor of Hebrew and Aramaic from 1899 to his retirement in 1938.
He died in Philadelphia, PA on February 6, 1949.
