Judas Maccabaeus (1601) was a play by William Haughton.
Abstract
Apparently finished by William Bird and Samuel Rowley, is credited to be the first English drama on the subject.
Editions, performances, translations
Performed in 1601 in England by the Admiral’s Men, was never printed and is now lost.
