Yoysef in Mitsraim / Joseph in the Land of Egypt <Yiddish with English subtitles> (1932) is a feature film (sound, B&W, 80m), directed by George Roland.
Abstract
Joseph Green and other Yiddish actors dubbed Yiddish dialogue into a silent Italian feature, "Joseph in the Land of Egypt." It was the first talkie filmed in Yiddish. The film was well received in the United States and became a hit in Poland, earning Joseph Green enough to finance his own film making career.
