Yehuda Shmuelli (M / Slovakia, 1929), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Yehuda Shmuelli was born in April 1929 in the village of Lipscha, in the Carpathian region.

During the war he was in Auschwitz, and then in Buchenwald where he was liberated at the end of the war.

He came to Selvino shortly after the house was opened and was there among the older children.

After about three months in Selvino, he made aliyah with some other Children of Selvino aboard the Enzo Sereni ship sent to Atlit.

Hanita -Torre di guardiaFrom Atlit he came to Kibbutz Hanita where he joined the group of Children of Selvino who founded Kibbutz Rosh Hanikra.
