Was Jesus Married? The Distortion of Sexuality in the Christian Tradition (1970) is a book by William E. Phipps.

Abstract

The author, a Protestant theologian, suggested that Mary Magdalene might have been married to Jesus. She may even have been unfaithful, and Jesus, out of unwavering love, may well have duly forgiven her.
