The Ukrainian Bible Society / Українське Біблійне Товариство, founded in 1991, is a non-denominational Christian association whose purpose is to translate and distribute the Bible in Ukraine.

Overview

The origins of the Ukrainian Bible Society go back to 1815 as a network of several affiliates to the Russian Bible Society.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Ukrainian Bible Society was formally created in 1991, with Yakov Dukhonchenko as its first President.

The Ukrainian Bible Society is a member of the United Bible Societies. Its current president, since 2007, is Hrihoriy Comendant.
