The Gospel According to Pontius Pilate (1977) is a novel by James R. Mills.
Abstract
Pilate recounts what he knew of Jesus, writing in effect a fifth gospel, though full of ironies, sarcasm, and dry, detached observations.
Editions and translations
Published in the United States (1977). A revised version of the novel would appear in 2000 under title: Memoirs of Pontius Pilate.
