Biography

Tanya Muench was born September 22, 1939 in Berlin, Germany to Kurt. Her half-brother Denys Muench was born in 1940 to Kurt and Hilda.

Their parents died in the Holocaust. In July 1942 they were deported to Theresienstadt, where they remained until Liberation in May 1945.

After the war they were sent to England with the Windermere Children. Denys lived in England and became a teacher. Tanya emigrated to Sydney, Australia.
