- 4. Stoning of St. Stephen (1520) - Tempera on canvas, 142 x 170 cm

Carpaccio painted the four stories from the life of St. Stephen for the Scuola di Santo Stefano in Venice, Italy. The paintings are now dispersed in different locations:
