Overview

The nine frescoes with Stories from the Life of Mary were made to decorate the left wall of the Tornabuoni Chapel, the main chapel in the church of Santa Maria Novella, Florence [Italy]. The right wall was decorated with Stories from the Life of John the Baptist (1490 Ghirlandaio), art. The entire cycle of frescoes is well-preserved in its original location.
