Biography
Werner Ziegel (5 Aug 1927) and Steffie Zieger (20 Mar 1929) were born in Berlin, Germany, to Berthold and Liese. They were refugees in France at Chateau de La Guette. Steffie survived in hiding at Chateau de Couret. On 7 May 1943 they crossed illegally the border with Switzerland, two of the 29 La Guette Children to do so between 1942 and 1944.
