Spartaco <Italian> / Spartacus (1793) is an opera by Michele Batini, Antonio Puccini and Domenico Puccini (mus.), and Luigi Vannucci (libr.).

Abstract

During the Feast of the Tasche at Lucca, a drama was represented in three parts in three days, each part being set to music by a different composer. In this case, the musical responsibility was shared by Michele Batini (1st day), Antonio Puccini (2nd day), and Domenico Puccini (3rd day).

The personages are: Spartaco, Norico, Crasso, Ersilia, Albina.
