Sixt Birck / Xystus Betuleius (1501-1554) was a German scholar and playwright. Born February 24, 1501 in Augsburg [Germany], Birck was a teacher in Basel (1530-36), before returning to Augsburg as a school headmaster. Brick died June 19, 1554.
