Samuel Felsted (1743-1802) was a Jamaican composer of British descent. Felsted was born and lived in Jamaica, where he was the organist at the Kingston Parish Church, in Jamaica. He was the author of the first oratorio composed in the New World and the only one composed there in the 18th century.
