Salome's Dance (1908) is a vaudeville dance by Eva Tanguay (chor.).

Abstract

Based loosely on Oscar Wilde's play, Salomé, and on Richard Strauss's opera, Eva Tanguay's solo performance of the Dance of the Seven Veils caused scandal at many theatre houses around the country. In those years the "Salomania" was at its peak and many vaudeville dancers were billed as "Salome dancers."
