Ryszard Krasnodebski (b.1925) is a Polish novelist, mathematician and economist. After fighting as a partisan during WW2, he studied economy and mathematics, becoming a University Professor. In March 1968 he lost his job for having supported the student protest. He resumed his teaching only in 1981 thanks to the support of Solidarność, until his retirement in 1985.
