Robert Grosseteste (M / Britain, 1175c-1253), scholar

Robert Grosseteste / Robertus Grosseteste (1175c-1253) was an English statesman, scholastic philosopher, theologian, scientist and Bishop of Lincoln. In 1242 he translated the Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs from Greek into Latin.
