Rene Alkalaj (M / Dalmatia, 1941), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Rene Alkalaj was born March 4, 1941 in Split, Dalmatia, to Any Knoll. The family was interned in Italian KZ camps in Dalmatia at Kraljevica and Arbe. After Sept 1943 they were among those refugees who arrived in liberated Italy. They were at DP Bari in October 1944.
