Paulus und das Judentum (1935) is a book by Hans Windisch.

Abstract

While accepting Claude G. Montefiore's view that Paul's background should be located in "unorthodox" Hellenistic Judaism, Windisch rejected Montefiore and George F. Moore's idea that Paul misrepresented Rabbinic Judaism. On the contrary, Paul's doctrine of justification by faith was a fairly accurate exposure of Rabbinic Judaism of the time.
