Nelson Leigh (1905–1985) was an American actor, who appeared in films, television shows, and theatre productions, mostly in supporting roles. Leigh took part in numerous biblical films. He played Jesus of Nazareth twice, in 1949 and 1957, lending his voice to the character also in 1951. He also played Paul of Tarsus twice, in the "Life of St. Paul" series (1949) and again in the "Acts of the Apostles" series (1957). In addition he had two minor roles, as Joseph of Arimathea in 1951 and Joseph of Nazareth in 1952.
