Mario Brelich (1910-1982) is an Hungarian-born Italian novelist. Born in Budapest from an Italian father and a Hungarian mother, Brelich used his proficiency in both languages to become in the 1930s a renowned translator of Italian literature into Hungarian. In 1946 moved to Rome, Italy, where he lived ever since, working as an artist and a writer of novels of Biblical subject.
