Biography

Born 1933 in Warsaw, Poland.

"We lived in tents ... My mother was the cook ... Father operated the mine-thrower, and I cleaned the guns ... My father died during one of the operations ... Apart from me, in that partisan unit there were 50 children aged from 9 to 14."
