Judas Ischariotes <Latin> / Judas Iscariot (1765ca) is an oratorio by František Xaver Brixi (mus.), written on an original text by an unknown author.

Abstract

Oratorio for Good Friday in Holy Week. In the convention of Baroque poetry, three allegorical figure - Justice (bass), Death (alto) and Hope (Soprano) - speak to the central character, Judas (tenor).
