John Gustavus Princell (1845-1915) was a Swedish American minister, editor and scholar. Born in Sweden in 1845 as Johan Gustav Gunnerson, he changed his name after moving to the United Stated in 1856. He served the numerous Swedish immigrants to the States as a pastor, social worker and editor of Swedish publications.
