Johannes Buxtorf (M / Germany, 1564-1629), scholar

Johannes Buxtorf (1564-1629) was a German scholar. The celebrated Christian Hebraist was professor of Hebrew for thirty-nine years at Basel. His son Johannes Buxtorf, Jr. continued his work.
