According to Jewish traditions, Jezebel was a Phoenician princess and the wife of king Ahab of Israel.

Overview

The Jewish tradition blames Jezebel for inciting her husband Ahab to sin and worship idols. Jezebel opposed Elijah and promoted the cult of Baal.

When Jehu sized power, he ordered to push her out of a window and kill her.
