Jacques van Ruiten () is a Dutch scholar.

Works on Second Temple Judaism

Jacques van Ruiten earned his PhD (1990) at Amsterdam. He is Professor of the Reception History of the Bible at the University of Groningen, and member of the Enoch Seminar.
