Biography

Heniek (Hyman) Kaliksztajn was born on June 9, 1931 in Strzemieszyce, Poland. He and his older brother Kalman were deported from Strzemieszyce Ghetto to several camps. They ended up in Buchenwald, along with other children from the same ghetto: the Finkelstajn brothers (Charles Finkel & Jacques Finkel) and the Rybstajn brothers (Jacques Ribons & Bernard Ribons).
