György Komáromi Csipkés (1628-1678) was a Hungarian scholar, Calvinist pastor, linguist and theologian, professor an the Reformed Theological Academy of Debrecen [Hungary]. Revised the translation of the Bible made by Gáspár Károli.

Komáromi Csipkés was born in Komárom [Hungary] in 1628. Calvinist pastor, linguist and theologian. He studied at the Colleges and Universities of Sárospatak [Hungary] and Utrecht; from 1657, professor an the Reformed Theological Academy of Debrecen [Hungary]. Wrote numerous theological works, and revised the translation of the Bible made by Gáspár Károli. He died in Debrecen on 6. October 1678.
