Grigory Ivanovich Ugryumov (1764-1823) was a Russian artist. Born in Moscow in 1764, he studied at the Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg from 1170 to 1785, and also attended schools in France and Italy. After a successful career as painter, he became professor and then rector of painting at the Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg. He died in March 1823.
