Giovanni Bernardo De Rossi (M / Italy, 1742-1831), scholar

Giovanni Bernardo De Rossi (1742-1831) was an Italian scholar, a Christian Hebraist and a Professor of Oriental Studies at the University of Parma. In his study of variant readings of the Old Testament collected a large number of manuscripts and old prints, now at the Bibliotheca Palatina of Parma.
